Introduction The Dakwah Management Division is one of the divisions of JAWI, headed by a senior principal assistant director. The main focus of the division is to carry out dakwah through guidance, welfare services and dakwah activities that are complete and aimed at the good and preventing the bad. The main target of the dakwah activities is all communities in the Federal Territories especially the Islamic community of all ages. Objectives 1. To enhance the quality of dakwah management 2. To provide true Islamic understanding in developing the morals, character and personality of the ummah 3. To strengthen Islamic ukhuwah 4. To provide welfare services among Islamic communities to handle social ills 5. To strengthen the aqidah of the Islamic ummah Functions 1. Implementing dakwah activities through courses, seminars, classes and guidance 2. Acting as secretariat of Islamic festivals at the Federal Territory level 3. Acting as secretariat of the Qur’an Recital Assembly & Qur’an Memorisation Assembly at the Federal Territory level 4. Handling conversion to Islam and registration of converts 5. Providing welfare services to Islamic communities through:- - Advisory services for patients at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital - Management of the deceased without next-of-kin & without means - Welfare & guidance of converts - Destitute/poor patients in the Kuala Lumpur Hospital Client’s Charter Ready to serve Muslim residents particularly in the Federal Territories and also in Malaysia in enhancing the understanding of Islam and its practice in daily life The Dakwah Management Division has three sections:- 1.
